Nyx IV stains are great! I also love love *love* sushycosmetics bloody lip tints. I have almost every single shade. They're really like not wearing anything at all texture wise and they last forever

I think NYX already has, they have a new variant of the fat oil gloss that are supposed to be cooling, so the cooling product trend might already be beginning its upswing in the market

NYX Lip IV will get you through a few hours/dinner. It goes on thick/glossy, leave on for like..10 minutes. Blot off. And you're good to go.

Nyx lip IV works great for me. My go to daily shade is hydra-honey. It's all about technique with Nyx, you gotta let it sit for at least 10 mins. How I use it is after I applied my skin tint, I clean my lips and then apply the stain and leave it on until I finish my full makeup routine. That leaves it on a good 20 mins+. At the end I wipe off the gloss and then go in with my fave lip liner (anastasia beverly hills muted mauve) and top it off with a gloss or lip oil. I've never had to touch up the stain or lip liner at all, just the gloss a couple times throughought the day. I think the gloss helps keep the stain from wearing down so easily. If you're wearing just the stain it'll fade throughout the day from eating/drinking.

Yes, the EU is also banning talc from 2027 on, maybe they just wanted to do it now so they could avoid selling it by 2027. Also nyx reformulated their lipliners a few years back to a talk free formula. Now they’re off-color, weirdly hard and unpleasant to use. That’s why our beloved nude beige lipliner suddenly turned pink

The Nyx matte lip balms. They look patchy and drying and I could just use…regular lip balms.

those are for the cool toned people without a golden overtone!! i think we tend to do better with a mauvey pink or brown shade without too much of a white base :0 i personally love nyx's butter gloss in spiked toffee and it's sort of a nude mauve brown

If you’re open to a few more tips, it might help to take a closer look at how the products you’re using interact with each other. The NYX Bare With Me Serum Concealer is a great hydrating option, but pairing it with the NARS Soft Matte (which is drier and more full-coverage) can sometimes create texture, especially under the eyes. You might want to keep the NARS strictly for spot concealing and let the NYX do all the work under your eyes. As for powder, Wet n’ Wild’s pink loose powder is brightening but can be a bit drying depending on how it’s applied. If it’s emphasizing texture, you could try applying less, switching to a lighter hand, or even using a damp makeup sponge to press it in gently rather than sweeping with a brush. You might also consider trying a different finely milled powder like Huda Beauty Easy Bake (just a tiny bit) or the e.l.f. Halo Glow Setting Powder, which tends to be softer on the under-eye area. And if you’re not already doing it, letting your concealer sit for about 30 seconds before blending can really help it melt into the skin better and crease less. Then a quick blend, a gentle powder tap, and you’re good. Let me know if you want some under-eye mask or powder recs too.

I always take the less is more method. I'm extremely cool-toned fair, so I can easily turn into a clown. Having a good base helps a lot—I usually use my calming serum, moisturizer, sunscreen as a primer and then concealer before a little blush. Also knowing if your skin works better with cream, liquid, or powder blushes.
