- Mani/ Pedis: I bought a $30 foot spa from Amazon, $8 callus remover and a $10 40 pack of pumice stones. Twice a month I will sit next to my husband watching a show, while I do my own pedi. Took a few rounds but honestly I now get the same results as a the salon. As for the mani, same thing but I use drug store press ons. - Hair Gloss: L’Oréal Le Color gloss gives me the same results as the hair salon, but I’m spending $10 a month instead of $60 plus tip. - Makeup: I’ll splurge on a NARS foundation when they go on sale at Ulta, but my go tos now for everything else are drug store. - Brows: learnt to thread and tint my brows instead of the salon. - Body Waxing: once again, bought a $30 warmer off Amazon, DIY YT videos. - Perfume: designer who? Marshall’s finds for day to day, free YSL / Killian samples for date nights. - Facials: Was gifted a face steamer, bought a $15 ion tool. Korean $1 sheet masks after. Walgreens has an excellent dupe for Paula’s Choice BHA - Skincare: Cetaphil is a fraction of the cost of the French line I was using with the same results. Buy eye cream in bulk when it goes on sale at Costco. TLDR: I live in a major VHCOL, I was a rouge Sephora member for years. Had my nails done every two weeks and hair every 4 weeks…. Never missed the latest make up drop. But now in this economy with kids…. I’d rather teach my daughters how to DIY it themselves, those skills will last a lifetime.
Thread Analysis: The post is primarily humorous, comparing the Lancome Skin Idole 3 Serum Supertint with a known product (Urban Decay)
Very heavily so! Eg Lancome Uvmune Renergie SPF50 and L'Oréal Bright Reveal Hydrating Cream SPF50 share the first 11 ingredients (in the same order too, to be clear). And Mexoryl 400 as a UV filter. But only one of them calls itself Uvmune to indicate the presence of Mexoryl 400 😎

Diluting foundation with a moisturizer definitely won't help with its longevity. I like light coverage foundations for their tone evening properties but still leaving the skin structure visible. Loreal true match serum is very longlasting on my skin.
Thread Analysis: The user is discussing their issues with the Rare Beauty concealer brush and mentioning other products they use, such as Benefit concealer, Laura Mercier powder, ULTA concealer, inkey list oat cleansing balm, and RoC Retinol Correxion Eye Cream.
1. Make sure to prime and hydrate your face 2. Make sure all your products are either water based or oil based- if you use a combo it can get patchy 3. It’s the foundation, the primer or the concealer- try leaving one out and see what happens. Usually I find it’s the concealer- if you want a cheap one the L’oréal infallible concealer (the foundation is amazing too) can never go wrong!

L'Oreal Paris Matte lipstick in Le Nude Independent. It's the perfect mauve color and I wear it every single day. It doesn't cake and stays on pretty well. I'm 53 so I can't do dried mattes or satin or glosses. This is just perfect. I've also purchased the shade below it and above it depending upon summer or winter time. Also Maybelline Fit Me powder. It contains no sparkles or shine. Just an all around workhorse.
Thread Analysis: The user is asking for recommendations on mascara that washes away easily and mentions they have been using Clinique.
I didn’t find that one to be tubing. I have a harder time taking it off. The L’Oréal double extend washes right off. I had to use make up remover for the maybelline sky high. I love it though and use it.

I use the lightest shade of the L'Oreal Serum skin tint and its hands down my favourite skin tint. It's the only skin tint I've repurchased multiple times, and I like it way better than any of the higher end ones I've tried (Fenty, Rare Beauty, MAC, Dior, etc.)

L'Oreal Voluminous mascara, in any color. Ground breaking? No, but it literally just WORKS, doesn't irritate my sensitive eyes, lengthens, volumizes, doesn't flake or run, and comes in a good selection of colors. I've been using it since middle school!

Since I bleached my hair I use bond builders! I use the Loreal Bond Repair line + K18 hair mask and somehow my hair is better than before the bleach! Could barely believe it.

L’Oréal have a serum foundation I think it’s called true match. As someone who always buys the porcelain or Ivory shades it’s such a good choice
Thread Analysis: The user is comparing two luxury foundations (Armani Luminous Silk, Dior Forever Hydra Nude) with an affordable option from L'Oréal.
Love the L’Oreal True Match, it’s been in my foundation rotation the last several years, I keep coming back to it. One of my favourite foundations period. I also like the Tinted Serum version. I have been really impressed with the Maybelline Lumi Matte lately. To me it gives me everything the Estee Lauder Double Wear does except it’s more lightweight and has a nice more liquidy texture.
Thread Analysis: The user is discussing makeup application methods and evaluating the suitability of different tools.
I use my fingers and it works great with my Loreal true match foundation. I also think I use less foundation than I would with a sponge.
