Also, pretty crazy that a professional MYA didn’t have basic red lippies like MAC Ruby Woo.

i wouldn't do Ruby Woo. I know i know, its everyone's fave. But i really think "Dare You" by Mac would be better for your skin tone. Keep the eyes classic and soft, make the lips bold and a half updo could be really beautiful. Less bronzer on the cheeks, its toooooo dark. A lighter shade with some rosey blush might soften the overall look. You are gorgeous. congrats on your wedding!

Russian Red is also colder than Ruby Woo, and a little brighter than Dare You. I have similar coloring to OP and often use Russian Red instead.

Ruby Woo by Mac is blue toned. That’s my favourite and only red lipstick I wear.

Russian red works waaayy better on me and I also have similar coloring. Ruby woo goes super orange on me.

Also… Pay close attention to her lip hydration in the days up to events. Use lip masks and sugar scrub followed by balm. My MAC Ruby Woo is super hard to apply, and that is the advice I was given that has helped me actually use that lipstick!

[Here’s a link](https://www.embracemakeup.com/blog/2021/3/16/how-to-choose-the-right-red-lipstick-for-you) to a picture of blue based vs orange based. For me personally, blue toned looks better on me but if you have a warmer undertone, you may prefer an orange toned red. Some people prefer a blue toned red because it can make your teeth look whiter. Like others have said, MAC Ruby Woo is the classic example. Thats wild, I can't wear Ruby Woo because it looks almost fuchsia on me!
