By using GlowIndex’s website, and its services you accept the use of these cookies and give full consent for their use.

What Are Cookies?

Like most other Websites, GlowIndex.com uses cookies. These are tiny text files that are downloaded onto your computer in order to improve your experience, and provide you with any relevant marketing material. This page describes what information they gather, how we use that information and why we sometimes need to store these cookies.

For more general information on cookies see the Wikipedia article on HTTP Cookies.

How We Use Cookies

Google Analytics – We use Google Analytics to receive statistical and user information when accessing our Website and our Platform. This is done to see user preferences, improve our services and products, and to follow any unusual or suspicious activity. To view Google Analytics’ Cookie Usage, click here.
Furthermore, we also record your IP Address through Google Analytics which we use to show GlowIndex users sessions by country, and the device used. Moreover, we assess our marketing and advertising efforts and its progression with the use of IP addresses.

Platform– If you create an account with us then we will use cookies for the management of the signup process, to maintain your login and other states within the service. These cookies will usually be deleted when you log out. In some cases, however, they may be retained to enable us to save site preferences whilst logged out.

Plugin – When on a Publisher’s website, browsing through the Business Directory service, we collect Statistical Data on views and clicks for each individual Local Business Listing, and any of their contents (i.e website/social media/email/appointment booking), which are hidden.
This is done to give the Publishers and Local Businesses statistical information about the service(s) they are using, and the data is hidden to prevent the scrapping of the data.
Moreover, the Publisher whose website is visited might have their own Cookie collection. This is out of our hands, and you must approach each Publisher’s Cookie Policy individually.

EMail Sending – When using the Business Directory service, when sending an email to one of the Local Business Listings, your email is recorded and so are the message contents.
This is done so we can protect our Local Businesses from any discrimination, bigotry, racism, abuse, spam and be able to block the email which said offences are sent from, preventing them from bothering any other Local Business. For more information as to why, please look at our Discrimination Policy.
