A beauty brand focused on creating high-quality products for all skin types and tones.
Thread Analysis: The user is discussing a beauty brand (Nars) and comparing it to other products.
The Nars tinted moisturizer is still a best seller, so I'm not too worried about it at this time. I was NOT prepared for MAC Studio Fix powder to be reformulated though. It's been a staple for 25 years for me! I fear that all powders with talc are being reformulated and that sucks. I think that Revlon Illuminance Serum Tint is being phased out, which is a bummer because it's so good!

This. They never were buzzy except for the Orgasm blush. Personally, I would love if they went back to the vivid colors

I'm inclined to agree considering that my two foundations are the MAC serum foundation and NARS Light Reflecting. My concealer is NARS. My color corrector is MAC. Nearly all of my lipsticks are MAC. My daily blush is MAC. My powder is NARS. My setting spray is MAC. I'm in my late 20s. I watch the occasional beauty video on YouTube, but I've never used Tik Tok and I don't care what's viral. I want good quality, reliable essentials, for which NARS and MAC are literally my top two brands.

For makeup, nars is super solid — I use their foundation, blush, powder, and have some of their eyeshadow and lipsticks and like them all For skincare, everything I’ve tried from Denis Gross I’ve at least liked and the peel pads are my hg For body, hanni is lovely (the splash salve!)
Thread Analysis: The user is discussing various makeup products and brands they are using or considering, including specific product names like Maybelline matte ink, Nivea super water gel sunscreen, Clinique Even Better foundation, Saem concealer pot, Elf 16h concealer, Loreal Lumi Glotion, BOJ glow serum, and full falsies.
Not OP, but I agree with the foundation comment, and NARS Thrill is cool-toned pink!
Thread Analysis: The user is asking for recommendations on Nars blushes specifically tailored to their medium olive skin tone.
Do not get the NARS blushes!! They must have reformulated them or something because I feel like the pigment is quite bad and the shades look so different. I bought Amour a few years ago and I saw it in the store recently and it looks much more muted and lighter, it also did not give the same pigment that my older one does. Unless my local Sephora has just put out a bunch of duds, I don't think the NARS blushes are worth it anymore

Product: NARS Afterglow Lip Balm in Orgasm Bought this in 2022 and it has served me well. I’m still trying to scoop out that tiny little bit of product with a lip brush because I can’t swipe it on my lips like normal.

Gotta plug my no concealer-concealer product here. The NARS undereye brightener takes care of dark circles without looking like you used any product. Haven’t used concealer in two years!
Thread Analysis: The user is discussing a change in color and performance of NARS Gobi foundation.
In my experience, NARS has terrible quality control. This color change could just be their manufacturing. on multiple occasions I have bought lipstick shades that are different but the same. so frustrating! I stopped buying their products when that happened the third time.

I’ve been eyeing this as I am in a wedding soon and doing my own makeup!! Is it dry skin friendly!? I’m currently using nars light reflecting but I want something heavy duty for a wedding.

Crazy that your base still looks perfect even without powder touch-ups. Makes me want to try that NARS foundation. Gorgeous look!

NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer is *superior*. I hear Haus Labs is good, too.

NARS Light Reflecting Foundation. They just don’t have a good match for me.
