I love ILNP. The most anti-FOMO brand out there in a FOMO world.

Ilnp is goated for that, they already were awesome, but that just really set them firmly at the top of best boutique brand. They really listen to their customer base and that seems rare these days.

I love ILNP so dang much. They're a rare example of a company with strong integrity from what I've seen. None of the FOMO nonsense. Reasonable prices. Their owner seems to genuinely care about customers and *employees*. $2.50 isn't nothing of course. But a $2.50 increase in the past 10 years for an indie/boutique polish? They're still one of the lowest priced- about the same as OPI in stores near me, but a way better product imo. Because they are known to not engage in FOMO, and are not raising prices much, I don't feel this need to panic-buy and then not buy for a while. I suspect I'm not the only one..which will play in their favor overall bc their sales will remain more stable than some others will. On that note- got a U magnet last month. Am thrilled to see their upcoming release!

ILNP seems to be taking much better care of their consumers compared to Mooncat with regard to price increases. New collection releasing, double rewards points before the price increase, not increasing prices on magnetics/higher cost formulas, plus giving us until the end of the month to stock up (rather than just five days)… I can’t justify approaching $20 for a single bottle of polish, and I could barely justify $15 before, so Mooncat is going on the no-buy list for me now.

Just get your holos at ILNP. Holos were never worth the price MC was charging to begin with.

ILNP magnetics make me swoon and the formula is not fussy … in addition to all the other ways in which this company excels. I’m happy to support them 💅

This is how I feel as well. ILNP clearly put thought into how to navigate these price increases with the smallest impact to the consumer. Their cremes aren’t increasing, and they are only increasing the boutique effect polishes that aren’t already at the $12.50 price point. Mooncat implementing a flat $1-2 increase on all their (already overpriced) polishes ain’t vibing for me. But hey, I spend enough on PPU and HHC every month, so honestly my wallet will thank me for taking Mooncat off the table 🤣

To be honest, this coming right on the tail of ILNP's price increase being relatively well received feels like a cash grab. The polishes are beautiful but I can't imagine paying $18-19 for a bottle of polish, let alone one that might explode.

Maybe ILNP Flower child as the base might work? It has the pink base with blue shimmer like in Mooncat's swatch.

Seriously. I was super into drug store nail polishes like 13 years ago and then I found ilnp on Amazon and added a few shades to my wishlist but never went back to them and a year or so later I stopped painting my nails for a decade. Those shades were still on my damn wishlist last Christmas. I think I went through and purged some and added new ones and ended up with a few of the newer ones I added and that's what jump started my love of the more expensive but superior indie/boutique nail polish world.

As someone who hates a skinny brush and loves a paddle brush, I actually really don't mind ILNP brushes. I think they are the perfect in-between.

This is almost immediately after ILNP's announcement of a price increase. I just ordered some ILNP over Mooncat as my first non-drugstore purchase, and price was a pretty big factor in that.

She’s absolutely amazing. I’ve been a customer since she launched ILNP on ETSY, and since the very beginning, she has consistently gone above and beyond to ensure customer satisfaction. Several times, I’ve placed an order, only to go back and purchase a couple more items. Each time, she has graciously refunded me the extra shipping costs and combined the orders when she absolutely did not have to. She continues to implement ethical practices to produce quality products at affordable prices with god tier customer service. It makes me feel good to see how much her business has grown, because she deserves all the success.

Yeah but thankfully their prices are still more than reasonable. $12.50/bottle is what a lot of brands are charging *now* so to *increase* to that isn't bad. I'm definitely gonna be shopping more at ILNP now, cause they're affordable...

Advertising at work! Mooncat is a boutique not a true indie. They're at least as big as ILNP. Maybe bigger. The founder ran another polish company for about a decade before starting mooncat. I think it's even a venture capitalist operation but I'd double check that! Someone spilled the beans here a while ago.
